To My Readers:
I would like to apologize for not living up to my part of the deal: posting daily blogs. I realize and understand that some of my casual readers look forward to seeing what was the next thing that I decided to put together. For me to take that away from them was not only a disgrace to the brand, but a degradation of the same.
I propose, due to the busy-ness that I have encountered, that someone help me to live up to my end of this bargain, or at the very least, call me out on my mistake (i.e.- not making daily posts, so on and so on).
In conclusion, here's the deal, I will, until someone comes along and extends the hand of help, that I will continue to make blog postings as often as I can, but if in the instance that a long period goes in between the last and next post, don't hesitate to hit me up about it.
Peace,
D. Landry

What's up to you?
This is D. Landry, once again, ready to show you a few things that I have acquired for the wardrobe.

So, without any further delay, here they are:

I bought these pieces the same day as the American Flag sweater. I like the first piece because it is a definite match with a previously acquired Mitchell & Ness snapback cap. Good ol' Denver Broncos. The second piece is a Yale University Bulldogs track jacket. This was a great addition to the wardrobe, seeing as I am a huge fan of the collegiate sport system. Blue + White = Cool + Smooth.
Thursday of last week, I received an order that I made for this particular cap. It is, by far, the most meaningful cap that I possess at the moment for the simple reason that it speaks VOLUMES. RBG'ed UP!!!
Also, on last week, I purchased a t-shirt at the B L A C K I E pre-tour show at the Indie Music house on Calumet. It was a very dope show!!! This is a hand painted design, not to mention a very limited run.
Finally, the coup d'etat of this post, the Nike Eggplant Foamposites!!! Yep, I got the Coppers and The Eggplants. Can I get the hat-trick with the blues? I WILL SEE.
Peace.

03/2/10 OUTFIT POST (A DAY LATE...)
What's the deal, readers?
This is D. Landry, once again, with another post for the blog. I am doing a lot of things right now, mostly things unrelated to the blog, which takes me away from my mission of making daily posts. For this reason, I apologize for the lack of postings and I hope that in the future, I can have contributing posters that can help me out with other articles, as I will continue posting my outfits.
Anyway, enough about that! Allow me to post the outfit that I wore on yesterday, the first day of March.
Check it out!!

This is a casual outfit that I put together before going out to DEAN's in downtown Houston, Texas. The beauty of this particular outfit is that it possesses a distinct balance between the casual (sweater & jeans) and the formal-esque pieces (the blazer & wool scarf). As many of you know, I am a big fan of the red/white/blue color combination. I forgot to put in the shoes that I wore with the outfit. Here is a picture of them below:
These are a pair of Reebok Pumps, made in the likeness of the American flag. I dig them. Does anyone see what I was going for in the creation of this outfit? Good, I knew I could count on you.
I lucked out in a big way on the Houston Rockets away cap. It has been a long time since I have seen that hat in person, aside from the pictures on the internet. Surprise, surprise, I didn't buy it from LIDS!!
The sweater was another thrift store find that I got at Blackbird Clothing on Westheimer. (Who says we Houstonians don't have a sense of fashion?)
