This is D. Landry and before I begin with the outfit post, I just would like to say thank you guys and girls from the bottom of my heart. I thank you because this could have very much been just like any other project that goes unread or unheard of. So, because of that, I would like to say thank you all, not only for just reading the [somewhat] daily posting, but also commenting on the posts as well.
One day, as I stated in the intro posting, I want this blog to get to the level of thesartorialist.com and many other fashion blogs. Everyday or so, they get to travel the country and the world, posting outfits that are not only trendy, but outright out-of-the-box stylings.
Again, I just do not know how to say it better than thanks. I really do appreciate the time that you take in reading these posts and I hope that the following will continue to grow.
Now, on to the clothing:
One outfit, two words: ALL BLACK. Sometimes, when all else fails, the key is monochrome. You want, however, the blacks that you wear to be somewhat the same. NEVER think that all blacks are created equal (in the fashion world, that is), so do not try to blend them together.
The cap that I am wear is a teal and black New Era Cooperstown Collection Florida Marlins fitted. I like the cap because it is a very rare piece that not very many people would take a chance in wearing. I say this because I could have very well worn the all-black Marlins cap, but one must always be willing to stand up and stand out, especially in the fitted cap department.
The shirt is from one of my favorite companies, MISHKA. You will be seeing a lot of this company on my blog, so just be ready. For those that think their eyes are being deceived, yes that is a woman being assaulted/chased by something with a huge knife.
The pants are black Levi button-fly jeans. Nuff said.
The shoes are the Parra x NIKE Air Maxim 1 collab. Dope shoe. I got a great compliment from a big time shoe head, DJ Arsnik of Houston, TX. If you need a great DJ for a party you got coming up, be sure to hit him up at arsnikda1@yahoo.com.
